BADASS Photographers is a free member community for wedding photographers across the world. It’s run as a volunteer group by five wedding photographers: Emil Boczek, Janina Brocklesby, Martin Hecht, Richard Howman (Founder) & Nadine Lotze. We warmly welcome new members to join and participate in the BADASS Awards, which are judged by professional wedding photographers who give up their time and talent to help curate each collection.
Currently living in Wolverhampton in the UK with my wife and 3 children, but I photograph weddings all over the UK and abroad. I am Polish/Canadian with over 25 years of experience, including reportage work for newspapers in Canada and Poland. Covered destination weddings and events in Canada, Poland, Spain, France, Italy and the UK.
My photography style is pure documentary (also referred to as candid, natural or reportage wedding photography) with no direction/interference.
Most importantly I am a proud Mummy of two amazing children Michael and Grace. These two certainly keep me on my toes. I have been married to my best friend John since 2010, therefore family means everything to me and we love spending time together.
Hiking, travelling, making memories and having fun is extremely important to me. I am a morning person and often I will get up at 5am just to enjoy a good coffee, early mornings are a perfect time to do that. I love an outdoor lifestyle! Therefore long walks and campfires are right up my street! I am huge animal lover,I used to have horses but now we only have our dog ‘Freeman’. He is a huge part of our family!

Hi I’m Nadine – a wedding photographer from Hagen in Germany. I usually photograph throughout the Ruhr area, but I also love to shoot weddings in other destinations in Germany and around the world. My aim is to capture real and pure emotions and to create timeless, beautiful and aesthetic photos that put a smile on your face and bring you back to the moment they were taken.
For over ten years I’ve been photographing weddings and portraits as a self-employed photographer. Since 2018 I have specialized more in documentary wedding photography and began to participate in photography contests: 2020 was a successful year for me. I was recognized as one of the top ten photographers in Germany by Fearless, Masters, WPJA and This is Reportage. On an international level, I have been named as one of the top ten photographers by Photographers keeping it real.
Moreover, I became a member of Badass photographers which I highly appreciate. Besides enjoying the community feeling, I am convinced that exchanging knowledge and experience, and collaborating with other photographers will lead to creative growth.
Awards are not what I really care about. My primary focus is on telling couples’ love stories through photography and to create memories that will last forever.
